Signed Agreement with Cox Health
Cox Health Patient Portal
We are proud to announce that we have signed a new development agreement with CoxHealth in Springfield Missouri! Cox needs help getting their patient portal ready for their upgrade to the Cerner EMR. Working with their application development team, we will be implementing new code changes to update their Online Patient Portal. This will provide patients with increased access to their personal health information. We want to provide patients with improved communication tools to help them effectively communicate with their doctors.
This project focuses on patient medications and the actions surrounding them. The idea is to encourage patients to tell their doctor when:
- Medications have adverse side effects
- They are no longer taking a specific medication
- Request a refill
As Cox migrates to Cerner, they will need a system in place to dynamically turn features on for clinics. We will be developing a tool that continues to pull historical data from the old patient data and merges it with active/current data. Patients will also need a way to either filter duplicate medications, or ignore them. We will be providing the tools that allow them to do so.
